After working for 8 years at Shopify, most recently as the Director of Communications, Mark took a year off of work to travel the world, experiencing different luxury accommodations around the globe. Mark returned to Canada with a passion for bringing exceptional hospitality and thoughtful design to the shores of Georgian Bay.

A natural born host, Mark's passion for ensuring every guest has the ultimate experience will not go unnoticed. From the private saunas, extensive collections of novels, abundance of board games, and every other thoughtful touch embedded in each of the stays, you will leave feeling relaxed and taken care of.

As the former VP of Growth at Shopify, and a lifelong entrepreneur, Bruno brings a wealth of business and marketing experience to Nomads, and a passion for finding the perfect location for guests to experience the best of southeastern Georgian Bay.

Guided by the belief that each person, each family, deserves the best possible experience in what could potentially be one of their few chances to unplug and recharge during their hectic lives, Bruno is passionate about ensuring that every stay and every interaction leaves you feeling relaxed, happy, and excited to return.

Designer and Brand Manager

As the creative and welcoming voice behind Nomads, Madison brings her keen eye and passion for design to the team.

Madison joins us as a graduate of Georgian College interior design program, and was the lead designer of our flagship stay, ‘The Hideaway’.

Craig met Bruno over a decade ago at Kijiji, and somehow convinced him to leave and co-found the Shopify Toronto office. Mark, already at Shopify, relocated to join them a few months later and the much revered Growth Team was born. This team took the fledgling startup to become Canada’s largest company, and became life-long friends.

In his post-Shopify life, Craig is focusing more on philanthropy and investing in meaningful companies. Travel is a huge passion for Craig, his wife and son. It’s his hope that Nomads will share this passion with many others in one of Ontario’s most beautiful regions.
